Black Moon Lilith – Sex & The Chakras – Lilith Astrology

lilith1 Black Moon Lilith Sex & The Chakras Lilith AstrologyFor some time I have been trying to come to some conclussion about wether to use Mean Black Moon Lilith or the True when casting a general chart. Solar fire is configured in such a way that you have to select one or the other. To make things clear we are talking Lunar Apogee here.

Mean Lilith has been used for atleast a 100 years and it is an averaging out of the orbit. Since the 90′s we have  True “Osculating” Lilith, which shows its real, erratic retrograding motion in all it wild glory. For those interested in the maths. Juan Antonio Rivilla explains it all here.

Kelly Hunter originated the idea of a Lilith corridor which for a while I called the Halloween zone, but I now want to look at Lilith in another way. I have always said Black Moon Lilith was to do with tantric sex, shamanism and mind expanding drugs. My main thoughts were that Lilith was the missing link between sex and religion. Then I remembered the Chakra system, which I will come back to…. Read more

Lilith Conjunct Neptune-Tantric Awakening

neptune conjunct Lilith1 Lilith Conjunct Neptune Tantric AwakeningSo what does Lilith conjunct Neptune stand for generally? In a natal chart they would certainly give great charisma and the ability to hypnotise and seduce. Together they also suggest  forbidden fruit. This can be at best occult knowledge or the controlled use of mind expanding drugs like psychedelics. Used negatively it takes us to the abuse of alcohol, drugs and sex addiction.

The conjunction will occur at 28 degs 38′ Aquarius, so anyone with fixed signs on or around that degree are going to have this hit them most strongly of all.

Back in May 2010 I experienced what I termed the Triple Guru Conjunction hitting my natal Mars/Lilith. Part of that set up  was transiting Neptune hitting my natal Lilith. Now looking back at how my life has changed since then, I realise I’d had what you could call, an “Awakening” experience. Read more

Angelina Jolie Horoscope – Celebrity Astrology Horoscope

angelina Jolie Angelina Jolie Horoscope Celebrity Astrology HoroscopeI have have used the horoscope of Angelina Jolie as an example of my new re-vamped Black Moon Lilith Reading, this will be called a Dark Goddess Reading from now on to reflect the emphasis put on, not only Lilith, but the other factors in determining ones Dark God or Goddess profile. That is to include Eris, Ceres and Persephone in the chart and to focus on the Moon, Neptune and Pluto.

Before I do this reading, I want to clarify the difference the between Mean and True Black Moon Lilith. Mean Lilith is most used, also called Black Moon Lilith. True Lilith is also called Osculating Lilith and is listed at astro.com as h13. In the past I have used Kelley Hunters model of the Black Moon Corridor which still holds true, but I now understand the worlds to which these two Lilith doors are portals are quite different and I will try to explain the differences with Angelina’s chart. I will write about this in detail in another Blog. Read more

Lilith V Priapus – Awakenings and The Tower (9/11)

LILITH AND PRIAPUS IN ASTROLOGY

Pluto is known as the great transformer and the planet of death. Pluto transits are usually the big life changers. Benjamin quoted another Astrologer as saying it was “like a Tsunami travelling at the speed of an iceberg”. I have always associated The Tower card in the tarot with Pluto as it is a transformative “death”, and also an awakening.

The Towerred copy copy1 Lilith V Priapus Awakenings and The Tower (9/11)Pluto is sexual energy, and Lilith in her tantric role resonates well with Pluto here. The orgasm is also know as the “little death” I was wondering if Lilith transits or transits to the Liliths heralded an awakening of this sort. A sudden jolt out of patriarchal programming. A cosmic reboot.

During the last 2000 years and the Age of Pisces, the western world’s established religions took over what was essentially a pagan, goddess worshipping culture. It was replaced with a God-fearing Christian, belief system. The connection to the magic of nature was lost, and it became something to control and fear. With this, sexuality also became divided from spirituality. Priests were supposed to be celibate. When the matriarchal line of inheritance was abolished, it became essential to be certain who had fathered who. So strict controls on womens sexuality were imposed and female promiscuity demonised. But of course patriarchy wanted their cake and to eat it, therefore, women were divided into mothers or whores.  Read more

Marina talks Lilith on a Podcast….

It’s coming up to the Full Moon, and quite aptly, I will be talking about Lilith on Astrologer Adam Sommers excellent podcast, scroll back to episode number 43 on the podomatic widget here: “Exploring Astrology”

We recorded it yesterday, but I fear, as it was my very first time being interviewed, (never mind the first time I have actually ever had to SPEAK about Lilith), I may have skirted over things too quickly in my nervousness.

Lilith Astrology – Triple Moon Goddess

black moon2 Lilith Astrology Triple Moon Goddess Black Moon Mania – Three Liliths in Astrology!

I have now gone into great detail about the 3 Liliths and have come up with some sort of theory of how they can be incorporated into the chart without driving one too crazy. The nature of Lilith is she is so hard to pin down, certainly mysterious, infuriating and does not conform to your bog standard planet.

What I love about her is the fact that some schools of astrology don’t take her seriously, some don’t believe she exists, and some just don’t like the untidiness of her being split into so many personas. She’s an hormonal, multifaceted, fluctuating beast is our Lilith. Read more

Black Moon Lilith Astrology – Mean & True

black moon lilith Black Moon Lilith Astrology Mean & TrueASTROLOGY OF LILITH RISING

Black Moon Lilith is the archetype of the Dark Goddess that I have mentioned in other Blogs. Her myth comes from Lilith, Adams first wife who refused to lay beneath him during the sexual act and otherwise. She chose to be exiled from paradise rather to submit to God. She is also the serpent who tempted Eve with the forbidden fruit (enlightenment/sex), which then banished both Adam & Eve from paradise also. There are many full versions of this myth on the net so I don’t want to repeat them all here. But for me she represents the Witch archetype. Magic, the kundalini, occult knowledge, the taboo, owning your sovereignty, the shadow, dreams, psychic ability, goddess power and creativity that is not just about making babies. Read more
