Saturn Square Pluto 2010 – Financial Crisis

287147 33717 51 Saturn Square Pluto 2010 Financial CrisisSaturn square Pluto on 21 August 2010 is part of the biggest thing in astrology for years, the Cardinal Crisis, and the global financial crisis is not improving, in fact things appear to be worsening. This will be no surprise to mundane astrologers as they have been predicting hard economic times due to the current planetary alignments. Richard Nolle at Astropro says “There will still be a growing, jarring rift in the business as usual…including what I have long characterized as panic in the markets…Debt, default and bankruptcy are still key issues under this kind of alignment.” Raymond Merriman at Merriman Market Analyst says “I think taxes and interest rates will increase, and shortly afterwards, I think this will lead to an economic recession and decline of the USA stock market, and probably stock markets of other nations too.” Read more

Cardinal Cross – Grand Cross August 2010

cardinal grand cross august 2010 Cardinal Cross Grand Cross August 2010The first two weeks of August 2010 is the climax of the ongoing T-square involving Saturn, Uranus and Pluto. Because the planets involved are in Cardinal signs it has been labelled the Cardinal Cross, but it is also being called the Cardinal crisis, Cardinal Climax and even Cosmic Cross. During this time, these three planets are withing two degrees total orb, the tightest of this T-square’s life. That alone makes this period important because the last time there was a similar pattern with these planets was in the early 1930′s, the Great Depression and the downward spiral toward world war and the deaths of 70 million people. What makes this time so critical is the involvement of other planets and lunations making this thing a super charged Grand Gross. Read more

Jupiter Conjunct Uranus 2010 – Jupiter Uranus Conjunction

jupiter Jupiter Conjunct Uranus 2010 Jupiter Uranus Conjunctionuranus 04 Jupiter Conjunct Uranus 2010 Jupiter Uranus ConjunctionConjunctions of Jupiter and Uranus occur about every 14 years. The  June 2010 conjunction at 0 degrees Aries is the first of three in this series. The other two are on 19 September 2010 at 29 Pisces, and 04 January 2011 at 27 Pisces.

In astrology, Jupiter is growth and expansion and is considered to be fortunate, with influence over religion, philosophy and social justice. Uranus is change and excitement, it is eccentric and influences revolution, invention, and technology like aeroplanes and the internet. Put these two planets together and we can expect the change and excitement of Uranus to be amplified by the expansiveness of Jupiter. Growth and the philosophy of Jupiter are subject to Uranuian change and unexpected twists and turns. Uranus is also awareness that comes from rapid awakening, and Jupiter is our belief and faith, therefore “The Quickening”. I’m going to have a look at the last two conjunctions then look in more detail at the chart the June 2010 conjunction. Read more

Grand Cross May 2010 – Jupiter Opposite Saturn

Also see Cardinal Cross – Grand Cross August 2010

Jupiter opposite Saturn on 23 May 2010  forms a Grand Cross with Venus opposite Pluto. This Grand Cross is very powerful for a number of reasons which I’ll mention, and it’s effects will give us some clues as to what to expect from other grand crosses to follow this year. I discussed the Grand Cross recently in Lunar Eclipse June 2010 Conjunct Pluto.  The one getting the most attention though is in August this year, also called the Cardinal Crisis, or Cardinal Grand Cross. Suffering and serving.

Lunar Eclipse June 2010 Conjunct Pluto

lunar eclipse Lunar Eclipse June 2010 Conjunct PlutoThe Lunar Eclipse (Full Moon) of 26 June 2010 is conjunct Pluto very closely by just 41 minutes. Astrologers have been very interested in this for a while because it is a trigger for the big T-square with Saturn opposite Uranus, both square Pluto. Major upheavals have been predicted including social and political unrest, more economic collapses, and more catastrophic earthquakes and volcanic activity. The chart for this Lunar Eclipse shows a powerful Grand Cross configuration which can be a sign of suffering but also of giving service to those in need.

Jupiter Conjunct Uranus we have discussed previously, and Saturn Opposite Uranus has also been covered. Marina looks at the chart as a whole HERE, so in this article I’m going to focus on the effect of an eclipse conjunct Pluto, the effect of the fixed star involved in this conjunction, and what it may mean for some national horoscopes. Saturn Opposite Uranus April 2010

Uranus SaturnOpposition Saturn Opposite Uranus April 2010Saturn is opposite Uranus on 26 April 2010, the fourth of five of these oppositions over a 20 month period. These oppositions are having a marked effect on the world as we have seen with the big changes in economic structures and politics. Americas first black president, Barack Obama was elected on the same day as the first opposition, and the worlds first openly lesbian head of state, Jóhanna Sigurðardóttir was elected prime minister of Iceland 4 days before the second opposition. Chiron the Astrologer and the Aquarius New Moon

Chiron the astrologer Chiron the Astrologer and the Aquarius New MoonChiron was an astrologer: the New Moon a couple of days ago at 25 degrees Aquarius has activated a part of the sky which has had a lot of attention in the last 9 months. The triple conjunctions of Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune have all been around this degree, in May, July and December of 2009. The last of these conjunctions is 17 February 2010 with Chiron conjunct Neptune. There have also been retrograde stations of these planets here, and Chiron and Neptune station direct around 25 Aquarius in early Novemeber 2010. Like I just commented on Mary Plumb’s article at The Mountain Astrologer, Aquarius New Moon, “it’s like this point is being rammed home to us by the universe. I get the feeling that whatever this means is extremely important for us and we need to explore it more thoroughly.” Read more
