It’s coming up to the Full Moon, and quite aptly, I will be talking about Lilith on Astrologer Adam Sommers excellent podcast, scroll back to episode number 43 on the podomatic widget here: “Exploring Astrology”
We recorded it yesterday, but I fear, as it was my very first time being interviewed, (never mind the first time I have actually ever had to SPEAK about Lilith), I may have skirted over things too quickly in my nervousness.
Sexual RevolutionAsteroid Lilith is the only real life physical body of the three Liliths. Therefore it is the only one with an actual discovery chart as delineated in a previous blog. There I briefly mentioned that there are 3 Liliths and I see them as each being a facet of the triple moon goddess.
So Asteroid Lilith resonates with the Crescent moon. The maiden. She is brimming with youthful vigour. So she is the teen, the rebel. She fights for freedom and justice. She is the earthly bridge to Eris, reflecting her trouble making, apple throwing side. She is the shadow of Uranus. Shocking, eccentric, stirring things up. The best way to look at her is to find out how she works in the charts of feminists and people who are noted for the above qualities. I have mainly looked at women here, but men have a Asteroid Lilith too. So like men also have a Venus, you can see how he integrates this energy into his life. I would imagine this would be strong in gay activists as it is in Quentin Crisp’s chart. All the Lilith’s are like Mercury I think. They are not defined by their gender. I have spent a good few months now researching the astrology of Lilith. As I have already mentioned there are three Liliths and together they work as a trilogy.
Wikipedia defines them as thus:
Black Moon Lilith
“The moon’s hypothetical apogee point (the point at which it is furthest in its orbit from the Earth), is known as “Black Moon” Lilith. It is said to signify instinctive and emotional intelligence in astrological charts.” Read more
On the evening of Tuesday, August 4, 2009, George Sodini comitted mass murder in the Collier Township Shooting. This report says he entered the gym for the final time at 7:56pm and the first 911 call was 8:16pm. I’ve used the 8:16pm time for his death.
