Ceres Confronts Pluto – The Icelandic Volcanic Eruption
The recent Volcanic eruption in Iceland and ensuing chaos is aptly illustrated in the skies now with Ceres applying in conjunction to a retrograde Pluto. The Earth Goddess is protesting!
Pluto is the planet of sex, death, intensity, psychology and power. But put it in aspect to Ceres and we are faced with the whole issue of the Persephone myth. Rape, abduction, mourning for the loss of a child and losing ones Virginity.Pluto has to be the Darth Vader of the Solar System. Far out there in the icy borderland he seemed very lonely, but we have since discovered he has company in the form of scattered disc objects and not least of all his dark Queen and cosmic match, the stroppy Goddess Eris. For the official opening of the climate change conference in Copenhagen in a bit over a week, the modern planet Ceres is at 24sco20. At 24sco34 was the last New Moon of November 16. The New Moon represents a focus for this period, now Ceres is centerstage. This will be the first Climate Change conference in which the two biggest polluters come with a positive attitude, America with a new progressive president, and China for the first time agreeing to reel in it’s CO2 output. 
My last Blog was an exploration into the core archetype of Lilith. At the same time in the back of my mind I was searching for the 10th Planet besides earth, to fill in that annoying gap for rulership of the 7th Sign and house, Libra. I was unhappy with Mercury for Virgo, so I was provisionally using Chiron there since it seemed to fit so well with the 6th house and healing.
I have spent a good few months now researching the astrology of Lilith. As I have already mentioned there are three Liliths and together they work as a trilogy.
