MacKenzie Phillips – Synastry of Incest
Mackenzie Phillips shocked the world when she published her book “High On Arrival” which accounts her 10 year sexual relationship with her father Mamas & Papas singer John Phillips.
Drugs played a huge part in this. Mackenzie says the first time she had sex with her father (aged 19) she had blacked out through drug use and woke up in the middle of it. She says the first time was rape. However for the next TEN years she says it was consensual.
I thought it would be interesting to see how astrology played out in this. I suspect there must be a past life love connection. Unfortunately we don’t have John Phillips birthtime, so that limits the exploration of this through the Davison chart. Read more
I recently wrote an article for Sasstrology on Lilith in Synastry. I concentrated on the Black Moon Lilith and did a rundown of the aspects to it between a couple. I thought it was about time I featured a couple to show how this works in practice. I’m picking Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton because they are probably the most Black Moon Lilithy couple I can think of. Both magnetic, charismatic and glamourous, both battling their alcoholic demons.
